About their work

“Calias work primarily in the field of social documentary photography and since 2007 they have been concentrating on a long term project about water conflicts. Their series of reportages called “DamAge” is putting a special focus on the consequences of big dams.

For this project Calias have documented stories from Italy, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Chile. Their work has been exhibited in large parts of the world.”
